#WeProtect Summit, Abu Dhabi November 16 – 17, 2015November 17, 2015
WePROTECT is a global multi-stakeholder response to combating online child abuse and exploitation. Created initially by the UK government and officially launched in December 2014 by Prime Minister David Cameron. Participants are signatories to a global statement of action. 50 countries, 30 NGOs and 20 leading technology companies committed in a global alliance to stop this horrific crime.
The second Global Summit on Ending Online Child Sexual Exploitation kicked off on Monday, 16 November in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
