Meeting with the board of EURID

eNACSO was invited to the board of EURID (the authority that manages .eu domains)
CEO Coalition for a better internet for kids (Final Review Meeting)

The statements of the companies attending the CEO coalition were distributed to all participants in a confidential fashion. The final results and the commitment for future actions of the five WGs were largely discussed. It was decided to create a ad hoc online box mail for the companies to communicate further improvement and achievements according to the commitments taken in the framework of the CEO coalition.
Breakfast Debate at the European parliament: Children in the Online Environment

The debate focused on what institutions (DG Justice), industry (Disney, Google) are currently doing to better guarantee child safety on line. The event lasted around on hour during which some brief presentations were delivered and some time was dedicated to questions from the audience.
EuroDIG Preparatory Workshop

The ideas sent through the EuroDig website for the event were all analysed and discussed. ENACSO proposal to organize a plenary session on e-commerce and privacy was officially accepted and we volunteered to coordinate the child protection section.
